2. Bookings and payments

You must be at least 18 to make a booking. When booking for others, you must have their authority and share these terms with them. Children must travel with a responsible adult and meet the activity’s participation requirements.

Your booking is confirmed when we send written acceptance. An enquiry or payment acknowledgement alone does not confirm a booking. If we cannot accept your booking, we will return the payment received.

Before payment, we will disclose your itinerary, inclusions and exclusions, total price, currency, applicable taxes and fees, and any deposit or balance deadlines. Your bank may apply separate conversion charges.

Check your details before submitting a booking and contact us promptly about errors. Keep your confirmation, receipt and accepted terms. Booking records are available on request, subject to identity verification and retention requirements.

Additional booking conditions must be disclosed and accepted before payment. They cannot remove mandatory legal rights.

3. Cancellations and refunds

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these terms.

Customer cancellations qualify for a full refund when received within 14 days after booking confirmation and before the tour starts. After that period, payments are non-refundable for customer cancellations, subject to the exceptions in that policy and applicable law.

4. Tour arrangements and responsibilities

Weather, road conditions, site closures or safety concerns may require itinerary adjustments. We will communicate changes promptly. Significant changes and cancellations are handled under our Cancellation & Refund Policy, including events beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for necessary travel documents and checking entry and health requirements. Arrive on time, follow lawful safety instructions and respect local communities, cultural sites and property.

Tell us before booking about accessibility needs or requirements affecting participation. Activities may have age, ability or safety restrictions. We will discuss suitability and available arrangements.

We may stop participation where reasonably necessary because of dangerous or unlawful conduct. Any resulting charges or refunds will be assessed fairly under applicable law.

We recommend travel insurance appropriate to your itinerary. Insurance does not replace our responsibilities or your legal rights.

5. Our responsibilities

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Where third-party operators deliver part of your tour, we will disclose relevant arrangements and additional terms before booking. Their involvement does not remove our contractual or legal responsibilities.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, negligence where it cannot lawfully be excluded, or other responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.

6. Website use

Use the website lawfully, protect your account credentials and do not interfere with its security or submit misleading information.

Website content belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it for personal travel planning and retain booking documents. Commercial reproduction requires permission unless permitted by law.

7. Complaints, law and updates

Send complaints to contact@ghanapeopletour.com with your booking reference. Tell your guide about problems during your tour so we can try to resolve them; this does not prevent a later complaint.

Ghanaian law governs these terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. You may seek remedies through a competent court or regulator.

Updates apply from the stated effective date. Existing bookings retain the terms accepted at confirmation unless you agree otherwise or the law requires a change.
